Quality

Colegio International Torrequebrada (CIT), received the AENOR quality certification  AENOR, just three months after opening its doors in the town of Benalmadena (Malaga), becoming the first school in Spain born under the standards of quality, not only where management procedures are concerned, but also in the design of activities and projects, & the ability to innovate in educational designs .

Nowadays, quality service is a prerequisite for any organization that wishes to grow, as well as a must for those who want to become leaders in their field, and even more when speaking about education. This is CIT, which remains committed to reach daily values ​​associated with their initials: Quality, Innovation and Technology.

In a world subject to continuous change, commitment to innovation requires an extra effort to establish and control the quality of the processes involved in achieving the objectives. Achievements primarily for the benefit of students and parents.

Innovation

Colegio Internacional Torrequebrada pursues Educational Innovation, understanding innovation as the selection, organization and creative use of human and material resources that result in the achievement of a higher level with respect to the targets established.

The fact that we speak of the conquest of a higher level with respect to certain objectives, refers to a feature that, in educational innovation, is fundamental: innovations must be evaluated and can only be assessed in relation to the goals and objectives of a particular educational system, they are not transferable from one system to another.

To consider Innovation as such, it needs to last, have a high rate of use and related research. CIT has promoted the creation of the Chair of Educational Innovation at the Malaga University, co-chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Education D. Francisco Murillo and our CIT Principal, Ms Sonia Diez.

Also, a special mention to the Educational Innovation Award granted to Colegio Internacional Torrequebrada (CIT) by the Internet Center for Advanced Training Educared (CEFA) driven by the Telefonica Foundation in its fourth edition.
