Favourite Books of the month
As we kick off our inaugural newsletter, I’m excited to share a bit about my own literary journey and extend an invitation for you to share yours!
George's Marvellous Medicine
ROALD DAHL
Growing up, Roald Dahl was my literary companion, and “George’s Marvellous Medicine” held a special place in my heart. Perhaps it was George’s relatability or the whimsical world Dahl painted that made it unforgettable.
The Lady of the Camellias
Alexandre Dumas
In my teenage years, I encountered a timeless classic that has since become my all-time favourite – “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas. This captivating tale of love and sacrifice has resonated with me over the years. I’ve revisited it numerous times, savouring its beauty in both English and Spanish.
Now, it’s your turn! I’d love to hear about your favourite books or any recommendations you have. Drop by the library, send an email or leave a note on my table. Let’s create a community of readers and explore the wonderful world of literature together!
