Summer Camps

Colegio Internacional Torrequebrada organizes a Summer Camp at the school each year during the month of July. It is a well-balanced program that offers a creative, fun and educational way for the children to enjoy their free time, highlighting four key elements:

• Values, as part of the CIT´S project ARGOS, presided by D.Federico Mayor Zaragoza – former Spanish Educational Minister & UNESCO General Manager for 12 years - , this project promotes the education in Universal Values related to the protection of the environment, defence of the historical, artistic and cultural inheritance and the promotion and defence of Human and the Children´s Rights.
• Linguistic Inmersion – BIP Project – additional daily support on language lessons (also spanish for foreign sudents).
• Reinforcement of the innovative capacity in the student as a person, seen as an integrated characteristic to the child´s way of thinking, learning and decision making that comes from multiple experiences joined to a proper development of personal resources, including the ability to predict and arrive to unexpected solutions. This integrates all the activities designed by the school´s “exploratorium” where the children will be able to experience a wide range of materials, techniques and objectives.
• Guidance towards Healthy Leisure: promoted throughout the year at the CIT with the Optimo´s Projects. We want the children to enjoy their free time, be able to decide how they organize it, being able to chosse amongst a range of Sport Activities; basketball, tennis, swimming, volleyball, among others. Always incouraging participation, collaboration and mutual aid.
