Extracurricular Activities Are About to Begin!

All families

We are excited to announce that on October 1st our extracurricular activities will officially start at CIT. Very soon, all families will receive confirmation of the activities their children will be taking part in this school year.

We can’t wait for everything that’s ahead: sports, arts, music, languages, science… a wide range of opportunities designed for students to enjoy, learn, and discover new passions beyond the classroom.

This marks the beginning of a stage full of new experiences, shared moments, and plenty of excitement to keep growing together.

Student Council Ambassador Elections

All families

On the 9th of October 2025, we will hold the Student Council Ambassador elections at CIT. It will be a very special day in which our students will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the value of participation, democracy and representation.

The candidates are already preparing their proposals and ideas to improve school life and represent the voice of their peers. We are sure that we will see campaigns full of creativity, enthusiasm and commitment.

We wish all the candidates the best of luck and are excited to find out who the new Ambassadors for this academic year will be!

Beyond Education

MYP1, MYP5 , DP2

During the beginning of October, our MYP1, MYP5 and DP2 students will have the opportunity to take the Beyond Education test, designed to measure their social skills and the impact of our Experiential Curriculum.

We are very excited about this test, as it will provide each student with personalised results and practical advice on how to improve and apply these skills in their daily lives.

This approach will allow them to not only better understand their strengths and areas of development, gain valuable tools for their personal and academic growth, but also lead to greater learning outcomes and more effective educational programmes from our tutors.

All families

From October 13th to 24th, 2025, the period for sibling pre-enrolment at CIT for the 2026/2027 school year will be open.

We want to give our current families the chance to secure a place for their children. In the coming days, we will be sending out the forms along with all the necessary information to complete the process.

We are pleased to inform you that as part of the Guidance Department’s experiential curriculum, as well as the school’s vocational guidance programme, we are organising our visit to the British Universities Fair (organised by the British Consulate) which will be held this year on the 17th October at the Sunny View School in Torremolinos.

This visit is voluntary and is only recommended for those students interested in studying in the UK. It is organised during school hours, so pupils will be able to arrive at 9:25 at the school and return for lunchtime. Students will need to bring their school jacket and a snack.

More Fish Options for MYP

MYP

Starting in October, our MYP students will have the chance to choose 4 out of the 8 fish options available on the menu, giving priority to the ones they like the most.

This initiative aims to encourage students to include more fish in their diet in a way that is appealing and tailored to their preferences.

We hope this change will be welcomed by our students and that they will enjoy their school meals even more!
