Dear families, staff and students:
We begin 2026 full of enthusiasm, passion and a strong desire to continue making CIT a unique and inspiring place. Once again, we will keep building an educational project rooted in a culture of care, where every person, every moment and every experience truly matter.
We would like to start the year by dedicating a few special words to our team — the entire CIT team — who are undoubtedly one of the fundamental pillars of this project. Nothing we have achieved would be possible without their daily commitment, their passion for learning, their ability to listen, their caring approach, their drive to improve and their constant smiles. We are extremely proud of our team and look forward to continuing to grow alongside each and every one of its members throughout this new year.
We begin the year with new challenges and aspirations: further improvements to our facilities, the upcoming British inspection, the continued development of our culture of care, new training opportunities, and the implementation of innovative pedagogical projects such as the responsible use of artificial intelligence, performing arts, digital portfolios in secondary school, as well as more workshops and new initiatives for families.
We are very much looking forward to experiencing together all that 2026 has in store for us.
All of this is also possible thanks to you — our families — for your trust and continued support.
We wish you a wonderful 2026.
Best wishes,
Roberto, Cristina, Hayley and Icíar

Yearbook
All families
During the week of 12 January, we will be taking photos for the Yearbook, and we couldn’t be more excited. This year, we are launching a new format, the result of a project designed entirely by our team, in which we have listened to families and rethought every detail to create a more up-to-date, carefully crafted and meaningful yearbook for our students.
The Yearbook will be a very special memento of this school year, reflecting not only moments, but also the identity and spirit of our school community. We are delighted to be shaping this new project, created with care and enthusiasm.
Important:
Students must come wearing their school uniform including the blazer on the day of the photo shoot.

Events
CIT University Fair
All families
On the 23rd of January, CIT will host our University Fair, a special event featuring visits from a wide range of national and international universities.
This will be a valuable opportunity for our students, especially those in MYP and DP, to explore different academic pathways, ask questions, and gain first-hand information about university options and future studies.
This fair reflects our strong commitment to academic and career guidance, supporting students as they make informed decisions about their future. We are confident it will be an enriching experience for everyone involved.

We are proud to announce that 16 students from MYP5, DP1 and DP2, together with two accompanying teachers, will represent CIT in the CICAE Debate League, which will take place in Zaragoza on the 23rd and 24th of January. We return with even more enthusiasm to continue learning, exchanging ideas, and defending our arguments in a high-level academic environment.
It will be a unique opportunity to develop critical thinking, public speaking, and debating skills.
Good luck to everyone — and most importantly, enjoy this amazing experience!
