We believe every student and adult in our community deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued every single day. A strong culture of care creates the foundation for everything that matters—academic success, personal growth, and meaningful human connection.
In our schools, a Culture of Care is more than a set of policies or procedures—it’s a lived experience. It’s the feeling of knowing you can raise a concern and be heard. It’s the reassurance that if you make a mistake, there will be support, not judgment. And above all, as a student, you can trust that the adults around you will always act in your best interest.
We believe that real learning can only happen in a space where students feel safe, respected, and connected. A strong Culture of Care isn’t an optional extra—it is a mindset that underpins the very foundation of effective education.
When students feel secure and valued, they are more engaged, more resilient, and more able to thrive—not only in school but in life. And when all adults in the school community share a sense of responsibility for that care, it creates a culture that is consistent, compassionate, and deeply human.
At the heart of everything we do are three guiding values:
Trust is what allows students and young adults to speak up, knowing they’ll be heard and protected
Responsibility ensures that every adult—not just designated roles—takes ownership for creating a safe, caring environment.
Equality & Diversity remind us that every child, regardless of background or identity, deserves to feel they belong and are treated with dignity
We embed safeguarding into learning—not just into rules. Through age-appropriate, culturally respectful content, our curriculum helps students:
Our 3-part safeguarding curriculum, delivered with a personal, social, health and wellbeing programme, includes:
While our focus is on students, we recognize that well-supported adults are essential to their success.
From the front desk to the classroom, our values are enacted every day. Policies aren’t just documents—they’re lived.
Key policies include:
Safer recruitment is key to our culture of care. We follow international best practices, recruiting staff who are suitable to work with our students. All hires undergo identity, qualifications, and reference checks, background screening, and social media reviews. We ensure that all recruiting staff are trained in safer recruitment practices and that contracts are conditional until all standards are met. We welcome applications from diverse communities and value a variety of backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
