Primary From 6 to 11 years

Following on from the infant education project, the primary stage covers the British curriculum through the International Baccalaureate pedagogical framework of the PYP programme. In practice, pupils learn through enquiry and research in transdisciplinary units and gradually build up their own portfolio.

All this takes place in age-appropriate, rich and welcoming learning landscapes where pupils build their learning in relation to others and through monitoring by their teachers with continuous and meaningful assessment.

How do we help our students discover their potential and enjoy learning?

During their time in primary school, we build a daily life where pupils are confronted with a wide variety of experiences and activities that allow them to learn and reason about the world around them and their relationship with it and who they are, while at the same time acquiring fundamental skills.

For this reason, we continue to focus on students being autonomous and responsible individuals and finding the intrinsic motivation to enjoy learning. From this moment on, they also have the opportunity to be part of the Pupil Council which makes decisions about the functioning and culture of the school.

When they finish primary school, pupils are prepared to face their next stage in secondary school with great maturity, responsibility, culture, knowledge and values.

Why Choose Our Primary?

Critical thinking

We encourage critical thinking through an educational approach that challenges students to question, investigate and reflect on the world around them, through experiences designed by teachers and students to promote autonomy, analysis and the ability to make informed decisions.

Experiential learning

Through projects, activities, trips and experiences, students develop key skills that enable them to reflect on the connections between the knowledge they have acquired and everyday life.

International mindset

We promote an international mindset that embraces cultural and linguistic diversity. Through a multilingual and intercultural curriculum, students develop a global understanding, learning to be responsible citizens who value differences and work together to make a positive impact on their community.
