The infant education project is based on an image of the competent child, capable of doing and bearer of knowledge, hypotheses and theories about the world around him/her. The curiosity and wonder that accompany each small discovery of the children teaches us a new point of view towards education.
We cover the British curriculum through the pedagogical framework of the International Baccalaureate curriculum of the PYP programme. As such, we create learning experiences based on enquiry and investigation, giving value to what children think and building a learning community with strong human values.
We develop a global and rich education on a daily basis to take care of the social and cognitive as well as the emotional aspect, consequently the spaces in which all this happens are fundamental and offer the children many relational and well-being possibilities through materials of different nature, structured and unstructured, etc. and a hybrid environment between the exterior and the interior.
For us, play and group work are fundamental when it comes to promoting in children many of the skills necessary for their current and future development as people, as well as the construction of their own identity, all of this accompanied by teachers who know how to listen actively to the child in close collaboration with the families.
From the moment they enter school, we want children to grow up as autonomous, responsible people, capable of thinking and deciding without feeling judged and respecting coexistence in a community.
Our nursery school is a space designed especially for the youngest children. From its architecture to the selection of materials and resources, everything is designed to foster relationships, curiosity and learning in a safe and motivating environment.
We create learning situations based on children’s interests and curiosities, we encourage autonomy in their process of discovery and we offer an environment that invites them to be the protagonists of their learning, to interact with others and with the world around them.
