On Tuesday 1st September, Colegio Internacional Torrequebrada was the first school in the country to open its doors, with Infants and Primary students, first year Secondary students and final year International Baccalaureate students all back at school. On the previous morning, our 2nd, 3rd and 4th year Secondary and 1st Baccalaureate students started their 2020/2021 induction week in the idyllic and natural setting of Wakana Lake, where they were able to get re-acquainted with their classmates, and the great outdoors.

I want to thank our whole school community – especially our families and students – for supporting Colegio Internacional Torrequebrada so loyally through this process of global change which was thrust upon us six months ago. Being first and leading the way has its challenges, especially during times of uncertainty. But it does not stop here. This is just the start. And Dr Susan Jeffers’s quote, “Feel the fear and do it anyway”, will be a very close companion, as we trust you will be too, as we journey together through 2020/2021.
